According to her, “While on the way to the campaign ground, the PDP presidential candidate’s convoy was attacked as we made to leave the palace of the Shehu of Borno. In a bid to escape the aggressive and rowdy crowd, I hurried into a Marcopolo luxury bus that carried the National Woman Leader and other party officials. As we moved, stones and what sounded like dane guns were pelted at our bus. I lost balance and tripped over as the driver swerved the car to get us to safety.

“I went blank and lost consciousness for a split second, until I was lifted by Mr. Osaro and Mr. Mohammed of the presidential campaign council who provided first aid from the medical team.”

The above story of the attack on Presidential Campaign attack of Atiku Abubakar is one too many. The journalist who survived the attack is lucky enough to tell her own story. How about those who died during the attack. Our democracy will not survive if this trend continues. Let us tolerate the other opponents. The polity should not be heated upunduly

I quite agree with you, that we should not heat up the polity unnecessarily.
