Presidential candidate for the African Action Congress, Omoyele Sowore, on Wednesday, criticized Peter Obi, a vice presidential candidate for the Labour Party, for visiting Dr. Datti Baba-Abuja Ahmed’s hospital.
On Wednesday, Obi posted images from his visit to the Baze University Hospital on his Twitter page and praised Baba-university Ahmed’s as being of the highest caliber.
He claims that the organization is an excellent example of what a center of excellence looks like and what domestic businesspeople and investors can accomplish to advance their country.
He stated, “This morning I had the honor of visiting and touring the Baze University Hospital in Abuja. My tour guide was Dr. Datti Baba-Ahmed, who was present.
This institution is an excellent example of a center of excellence and what domestic entrepreneurs and investors can accomplish to strengthen the country.

“With several more facilities like this, medical tourism for Nigerians will be a thing of the past. This is simply awesome. – PO.”
Sowore responded to the visit by expressing suprise that Obi chose to go to Baba-hospital Ahmed’s rather than the ‘university teaching hospital’ he purportedly constructed while serving as governor of Anambra State.
He wrote, “I thought you & Datti would be inspecting the international standard “University Teaching Hospital” they claimed you built while you were governor of Anambra state and not a private hospital built by Datti, which obviously is not accessible/affordable to majority Of Nigerians!.”
