The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) gubernatorial candidate for Ogun State, Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, has been upbeat today.
It is the birthday of the Director-General of his campaign organisation, Comrade Babatunde Busayo Oke, and shot of closing entire streets in celebration, Ajadi took time out to wish the man the best of a new year.
He told our correspondent that a man in the caliber of Oke deserved to be celebrated for the contribution that he had been making towards the positioning of the NNPP in the state.
In a carefully worded congratulatory message, Ajadi, said Oke deserved to be congratulated as day-to-day survival had been the mark of the grace of God.
He recalled testimonies of others on the celebrant before now, especially his political activities, saying such a person needs to be prayed for in appreciation as he celebrates.
According to him, Comrade Oke belonged to the few party members who remained faithful over the years, ensuring the coming of the NNPP to the mainstream of the state’s politics.
He prayed God to grant him more years of existence to continue the good work.
“I personally send warm greetings and felicitations to you as you add another year.
“I also pray that God will give you grace to celebrate more in the years to come, amen”, Ajadi prayed.
Meanwhile, Ajadi has continued his familiarisation tour of Ogun neighborhoods seeing first the peculiar challenges of each.

He had reiterated his commitment to improving the infrastructure of Ogun state, especially in neinghourhoods which appear cut off from the mainland.
The receptions has been very impressive underscoring the people’s desperate need for change.
