The Ogun State chapter of the patent medicine dealers, Nigerian Association of Patent and Proprietary Medical Dealers, NAPPMED,  on Friday, pledged their support for the gubernatorial candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP, Olufemi Ajadi’s ambition in the forthcoming general election.

The President, Mrs Dominion Omyisi, said this at a meeting of the association held at His Glory Hall, Alishiba Sango Ota.

The president said it would be a loss of votes and time if any individual from Ogun State could think of voting for any other party other than NNPP as she felt that it is only the party that has not been given a  chance to govern the state.

Omyisi said generous support which most of the people of Ogun State had benefited from Ajadi would speak more for him positively among his gubernatorial contemporaries.

“We, members of the NAPPMED have held a meeting before you were invited and we had a unanimous decision to vote for you in the Ogun State 2023 gubernatorial election,” she said.

Speaking at the occasion, the Ogun West Zonal President of the association, Imam Raji Nosirudeen, said that  Ajadi should have confidence in the fulfilment of the association’s promise, adding that every member has a voter’s card.

“I have been practising politics for a long time and I know what it takes to win the election. So, we had told our members whom to be voted for in Ogun State and we will help you in propagating your party to other unions,” he said.
