According to the official Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) forex trading segment, Dollar to Naira is exchanged at N418.47/ $1 today, 8th of August, 2022.
This is as against the previous trading session in which the Dollar was exchanged for the local currency at a rate of N416.68/$1, indicating a 0.28 percent rise for the American currency.
At the official Investors and Exporters Window (I &E), Naira is traded at N428.12/$1.
Meanwhile, on the black market segment, Dollar is currently traded at N662.86/$1, as against yesterday’s session which was N658/$1, indicating a N4 increase in sales.

The story is different for the digital currencies, as they record positive changes in the past 24 hours.
Bitcoin (BTC) records a change of 3.39 percent to be sold at $23,799, Ethereum (ETH) also recorded a positive change of 2.76 percent to be traded at $1,733.82 per coin, while Binance (BNB) shows a 5.37 percent to be exchanged at $328.61 per coin.
