Dollar To Naira Exchange June 28, 2022

According to the official Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), forex trading segment, the Naira to US dollar exchange rate is N415.64 today, June 28, 2022.

In contrast to last week’s trading session which concluded the week at N415.5, the Naira recorded a 0.03 per cent increase in value against the US Dollar.

A review of the entire month implies that the CBN’s recommended USD rate on Wednesday, June 01, 2022, was 415.58. The current USD rate of 415.64 is a 0.01 percent increase in the CBN’s US Dollar to Naira exchange rates for June.

Meanwhile, at the official Investors and Exporters (I & E) Window, Naira commenced the week at N421/1$, this is against Friday’s trading segment of N420.12/$1 – recording a 0.21 per cent decline in Naira.

The local currency fell in value despite a $10.02 million (6.1%) decline in trading day turnover as $152.96 million worth of foreign exchange traded hands as opposed to the $162.98 million seen in the previous trading segment.

According to The Eagle‘s observation, the currencies traded at the parallel market is between N590 –  N610 in Lagos and various states across the country.

Digital currencies are also witnessing a downside in the past 24 hours. Bitcoin recorded a change of 1.82% to fall at $21,053.47 per coin.

Ethereum (ETH) currently trades at $1,222.62, or N507,387.30 per coin, a change of 0.95%  in the past 24 hours. While the price of Binance (BNB) is $237.87 or N98,716 a change of 0.72% in the past one day.
