After practicising for over ten years, at last, a High Court in Port Harcourt has remanded in police custody, a man identified as Stanley Atjogbe.
Atjogbe is suspected to be a fake lawyer, and had been operating like that for a decade before the long arm of the law eventually caught up with him.
It took the request of the chairman of the Nigeria Bar Association, Port Harcourt branch, Prince Nyekwere, to get Atjogbe
Investigation on the matter has commenced but in the interim, Justice C. Wogu, has ruled that the suspect be detained pending the outcome of investigations.
How did the lid blow off Atjogbe? It was during cross-examination on Wednesday and simple questions of which law school he attended, and his year of graduation, were posed to him: Atjogbe could not proffer reasonable answers

During the trial of the case, the defence team in the criminal matter also tendered reports from the Supreme Court of Nigeria and the national leadership of the NBA disowning him.
Nyekwere, who spoke to journalists, said the suspect’s name is not in the data base of the NBA.
