BBN Star. Frodd Visits Onitsha Market Fire Scene, Condoles With Traders

Big Brother Naija (BBN) reality show Star Frood has paid a visit to Ochanja market, which got burnt in a fire incident about a week ago.

Frodd, full names Chukwuemeka Okoye  who was second runner up in BBN, came to show concern to those affected in the incident.

He said he was particularly touched by the loss of human beings and also substantial amounts of money by the traders.

It would be recalled that a tanker carrying fuel had lost control and fallen into drainage at MCC Bus stop near Toronto Hospital, Upper-Iweka, Onitsha.

Immediately it fell, it pilled its content on the floor and caught fire.

Reports showed that  the fuel that spilled into the drainage flowed down with fire and burnt many houses along Iweka Road before entering sections of the Ochanja Relief Market.

Among the victims was a woman and her child who fell into the gutter while trying to escape the stampede.

Touched by the losses, Frodd, came visiting.

Adorned in a red cap, he showed solidarity with the victims of the fire.

A post on his instagram page read thus:

 Indeed, it’s a sad period for my people but I indulge you to be strong in this times.

God Almighty will see us through this period. I indulge Nigerians to reach out to families and friends who were affected.

 I will be also partnering with foundations to see how we can help our brothers and sisters.
