Sports Betting: Lottery Commission Lists Authentic Winning Outlets

Those earnest about mega millions in sports betting and gaming, appear to have more opportunities, going by latest development in the sector.

The National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC) says it has cleared 19 more sports betting and gaming operators in the country.

Beyond that, it has also officially released a link to all of the officially accredited sports betting and gaming operators to aid the interested public.

Director-General of the commission, Mr Lanre Gbajabiamila listed the operators to include Zebet, Betika, Gobet, Msport, Afribet and Bangbet, via a statement released today October 4, 2023

Betwazobia, Koretbet, Paripesa, Livescorebet, Blackbet/Betty Bingo, Cloudbet, Hallabet, N1bet, Konfambet, Scratch2win, Naijabet, Lottomania And Millionaire Powerplay Are Also In The List.

The latest development means that the sports betting window has been increased for patrons, making possible mega wins.

He allayed possible prejudices concerning the authenticity of the list companies, by saying that they are duly licensed by the National Lottery Regulatory Commission.

His clarification becomes necessary going by an earlier position by the Lagos State Lotteries and Gaming Authority (LSLGA).

It was to the effect that the outlets were illegal.

Stating the contrary, Gbajabiamila said they were authentic, as they had been duly licenced to conduct lottery and sports betting business in Nigeria.

“It is therefore necessary for NLRC as the Agency created by law to regulate Loterry and Gaming in Nigeria to make clarification.

“So, the following gaming operators listed as “unlicenced and illegal” in the publication of LSLGA are duly licenced to conduct lottery and sports betting business in Nigeria,”

“NLRC deeply regrets any misconceptions the unfortunate publication may have caused the national gaming licencees operating within the ambit of the law in Nigeria,” he added.

In the interest of the gaming public, he spoke about a comprehensive list of gaming operators in the country.
