Gospel Artiste, Adebimpe Afolabi Set To Launch New Album On Independence Day


Popular gospel artiste, Adebimpe Afolabi, will on Monday, October 1, launch another album.

Afolabi, sang the evergreen worship song “Hosannah Talo Dabire”.  Her last Album was released in 2011.

The launch is slated to take place at CLCC hall Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos State, at 2pm.

She has also written and released several songs since then, namely Ose Baba a new musical video, Olugbala, Orin tun tun, Created to worship, Christmas in the air, Messiah, Silent night, Something about Christmas, etc

Also, the author of Melodies from Heaven Music Book, will also be unveiling a new magazine at the event tagged “The Song writer and Singer”(SWS). This is the Second Edition of the seminar and it promises to be an Enlightening Session with the crop of professionals in the music industry that will be speaking on the day.

Amongst facilitators are Emmanuel Akapo (CEO, Ten strings Music School), Michael Bakare (Musicologist) , Yetunde Chorus  (Voice Coach). They will be taking us on the Business aspect of music, Art of composition and Act of singing.

The Convener, recently concluded a Summer SWS training for kids ages 5-14 years, last month, which produced two new singles, written and sang by the children.

Another highlight of the day is the release of last year’s lyrics challenge song, titled “Nigeria shall be great again”, which coincides with our Independence Day celebration.

Afolabi, presently worships at Daystar Christian centre.
